✦ Design process
Describe your tattoo idea in detail and include the placement you would like.
Send reference images that capture the mood, subject, or details you want. These help us design something unique and well-balanced.
Include a clear photo of the area to be tattooed.
We don't use or copy other artists' tattoos as reference images.
We'll confirm that the project is a good fit for us before discussing dates or deposits.
The final design is created on the day of your appointment, with your input during the process. Expect about 1 hour for discussion and sketching at the start of your session; that time is included in your booking.
✦ Pricing and deposit
Full-day session (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
Small pieces (1 to 2 sessions), per session
Medium projects (3 to 4 sessions): half sleeve, chest panel, thigh
Large projects (5+ sessions): full sleeve, back piece, leg sleeve
Weekend days, flat rate, since they are technically the artist's day off
Minimum charge (covers up to 1 hour)
Deposit, applied to your final session
Payment is due at the end of each session. Cash or card accepted; card payments have a 3% fee.
Deposits are non-refundable. You can reschedule twice with at least 3 days' notice without losing your deposit.
✦ Appointment and location
Coming from outside Montréal, from Ontario or from the United States? Say so in your request: multi-session projects can be grouped on consecutive days, and prices are listed in both CAD and USD.
Montréal, QC. The exact address and directions are sent with your appointment confirmation.
Sessions start at the agreed time.
Avoid alcohol for at least 48 hours before your appointment.
Get good rest, eat beforehand, and stay hydrated.
Shave the area to be tattooed before coming in, with an electric razor rather than a blade, so the skin isn't irritated.
Wear comfortable, accessible clothing: tank top for arms, shorts for legs, etc.
If you're running late, email us at commedesdessins@gmail.com. Arriving 30 minutes late without notice may result in a canceled session and loss of deposit.
If you don't show up, your deposit will be forfeited, and future bookings may not be accepted.

By paying your deposit, you agree to the entire policy above and acknowledge that the deposit cannot be refunded for any reason whatsoever.
